We carved our pumpkins earlier this week. Kaycee did EVERYTHING herself.. I couldn't believe it! And it turned out so cute. Now Jackson was totally grossed out!! He did however, enjoy stabbing the snot out of that pumpkin with his carving knife. I tried carving a Sponge Bob pattern on my pumpkin. Had a few nose/eye malfunctions, but it turned out okay.

Sun Harvest P.P.
We were glad Grandma, Nolan, Shayla and Steve came along too! Kaycee and Nolan made their own trails blazing through the corn maze while Jackson and Shayla tried to find them. Thank goodness we didn't go through the 10 acre maze.... we might still be there!!
After the pumpkin patch, Grandma treated us to some ice cream from Dariy Queen.......yummie! The kids haven't had a "dipped cone" before. It was a hit. Thanks Grandma for coming all the way over here to hang out with us for the day!!

Girlie Day!
Since Heidi and I didn't get into the St. George marathon this year, we ran on the pipeline trail up Millcreek canyon Saturday morning before the baby shower. I didn't feel so bad about missing out on St. George after that. The fall leaves were gorgeous! Heidi wasn't too thrilled about the gigantic and hairy wolf spider we ran into, especially when I started nudging it with my shoe to see if it was dead or alive (it was VERY alive). Ha. Anyhoo... was a fun Girlie Day and I made it home before the huge snow storm hit (currently looking out at 2 inches of snow which is still falling and dead branches everywhere.... boo hoo....).
Mother goose?
They also were able to go Antelope hunting with Uncle John and Grandpa Gerald in Kemmerer. I heard that they were VERY disappointed that John didn't get one while they were with him. They did however find some "treasures" while hiking around
